Quick German Potato Salad



Preparation Time: 20 min

Ingredients:

  • 500g of baby potatoes
  • 100g of bacon
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of mustard
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Pot
  • Colander
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board

Instructions:

  • Boil the baby potatoes in a pot of salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and let cool slightly, then slice them into halves.
  • In a frying pan, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the pan and set aside, leaving the fat in the pan.
  • Add the chopped onion to the bacon fat and sauté until translucent.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the apple cider vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper. Toss in the warm sliced potatoes and mix gently.
  • Add the crispy bacon and sautéed onions to the potatoes, mixing everything thoroughly.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
