Quick Asian Stir-Fry with Tofu


 

Preparation Time: 25 min.


Ingredients:

  • 200g of firm tofu, cubed
  • 100g of broccoli florets
  • 100g of bell peppers, sliced
  • 50g of carrot, julienned
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 20ml of soy sauce
  • 10ml of sesame oil
  • 1 tsp of ginger, grated
  • 2 spring onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Wok
  • Spatula
  • Chopping board
  • Knife

Instructions:

  • Heat the wok over medium-high heat and add the sesame oil.
  • Add the cubed tofu and fry until golden brown on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the broccoli, bell peppers, and carrot, stir-frying for another 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • Pour in the soy sauce and mix well to coat the tofu and vegetables evenly.
  • Remove from heat, garnish with chopped spring onions and sesame seeds before serving.
